Join KPLU and BirdNote to celebrate BirdNote's Fifth Anniversary with KPLU
Sunday, February 21st at 3pm at the Museum of History and Industry
(MOHAI) in Seattle, near the UW campus.

Be part of a live BirdNote recording session, hear unusual bird calls, and see stunning bird photos. Listen to live music by "The BirdNotes," a jazz trio that includes Grammy-award-winning oboist, Nancy Rumbel. Enjoy refreshments and the opportunity to talk with members of the BirdNote team who create the shows, as well as KPLU radio hosts. Bring your friends and family! Tickets are available at BrownPaperTickets, $10.50 adult, $5.50 child (includes ticket surcharge). Parking is free.

This special performance will feature:

	John Kessler, BirdNote Producer and "All Blues" host on KPLU 88.5
	Nancy Rumbel, of Tingstad and Rumbel  and creator of the BirdNote theme music
	Gerrit Vyn, Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology sound recordist and nature photographer (hear his interview on BirdNote)
	Mary McCann, BirdNote Narrator
	Michael Stein, BirdNote Narrator
	Chris Peterson, BirdNote Founder and Executive Producer
	Dick Stein, KPLU host
	Snowy the Owl - She loves to have her picture taken with kids!
