Kris Tsujikawa worked in the public sector for over 22 years, with organizations including King County Natural Resources & Parks, the University of Washington, the City of Seattle and the King County Sheriff’s Office. Currently, she serves on the Board of PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society) on the Development and Marketing Committee. The PAWS mission of being a champion for animals – rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs and educating people to make a better world for animals and people, aligns perfectly with her own beliefs and commitments.
A life-long animal lover, Kris hopes through her photography she can help people make a connection to wildlife. Such connections can lead to caring, appreciation and advocacy for those who have no voice.
She loves BirdNote and is deeply honored to be a contributor to this international treasure. BirdNote inspires millions of people around the world and fills us with wonder and hope.
