Tim Hoeflich lives in Marietta, Ohio, with his wife Linda. They settled there in 1998 after Tim retired from the Air Force.
Tim has been interested in photography since he was a child. Although his interest in the hobby has waxed and waned over the years, he became hooked all over again with the dawn of digital photography. He enjoys all types of photography, but he has a deep respect and curiosity for nature and so that is where the majority of his photography is centered. In recent years, he has also become interested in providing habitats in his back yard that attract birds and butterflies, and then enjoys photographing them when they come to visit.
Tim writes: “I love sharing my photos with anyone who cares to see them, and I hope that when people view them, they feel some of the same reverence for nature that I felt while taking them. I have contributed photos to a local historical society as well as a number of groups that promote conservation and respect for the environment. I am particularly proud of some of my photos that have been used in signs at the Kroger Wetland in Marietta. I am having a lot of fun and I hope to continue for many years to come.”
