Crow Roost in Prince Edward Island

© Jeremy Larter

We don't feature many videos that have music, but this footage of a night roost of crows in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island is pretty special. As the sun goes down, the number of crows grows.

Why do they do this? Crow expert Bill Gilbert believed that the roost provides warmth, protection from predators, knowledge about food sources, and a chance to locate a mate. Learn more by listening to "Crows' Night Roost."
