The Cornell Lab of Ornithology believes in the power of birds to ignite discovery and inspire action. Bird Academy is continuing a century-old tradition of sharing the wonder and joy of birds far beyond our walls.

Audubon’s mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.



American Bird Conservancy's mission is to conserve native birds and their habitats throughout the Americas. ABC acts across the full spectrum of threats to birds to safeguard the rarest bird species, restore habitats, and reduce threats, unifying and strengthening the bird conservation movement.

BirdLife InternationalThe BirdLife Partnership strives to conserve birds, their habitats and global biodiversity, working with people toward sustainability in the use of natural resources. BirdLife wishes to see a world where nature and people live in greater harmony, more equitably and sustainably.




Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl, also benefiting other wildlife and people. Their vision is wetlands sufficient to fill the skies with waterfowl today, tomorrow and forever.



The National Environmental Education Foundation is the nation’s leading organization in lifelong environmental learning, connecting people to knowledge they use to improve the quality of their lives and the health of the planet. NEEF works to make the environment more accessible, relatable, relevant, and connected to people’s daily lives.



Environment for the Americas highlights the need for the conservation of migratory birds shared from Canada to Argentina and the Caribbean. This unified global campaign, called World Migratory Bird Day, strives to make bird conservation education available throughout the Western Hemisphere. 

The Endangered Species Coalition’s mission is to stop the human-caused extinction of our nation’s at-risk species, to protect and restore their habitats, and to guide these fragile populations along the road to recovery. National Endangered Species Day is the third Friday in May.


The mission of Partners in Flight is Keeping common birds common and helping species at risk through voluntary partnerships. To halt and reverse bird population declines before they are listed as threatened or endangered is a cost effective and common-sense business model for the future.
