Dory Hamlyn

Dory writes: Sailing has been an important part of my life. One day it brought me to a turning point. I recall the excitement of seeing my first Bald Eagle in the wild, a rare sighting in those days. It was perched on a channel marker, and I remember the flurry of activity in trying to photograph it before it flew. Birding and photography combined as one on that special day, sailing in south Puget Sound.
