Emilie DeFazio is a writer and editor based in Sacramento, California. Specializing in entertainment and scriptwriting, she has been published in The Dangling Modifier, Screen Queens, and TWENTY TWENTY: A Stories on Stage Anthology. She has made friends with many of her neighborhood birds but has a special connection to the Common Mourning Dove, one of which built a nest and kept her eggs safe in Emilie's childhood treehouse.
