Lauren Vespoli (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based journalist and audio producer, who loves spending time in NYC's natural pockets and appreciating urban wildlife. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the radio program at The Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, New York magazine, and Atlas Obscura, among others; as a producer and fact checker, she has worked with Campside Media, Kast Media, Fast Company, and The Coney Island History Project.
