

Maya Khosla is an Indian poet and biologist who lives in California.
Maya's work has been featured in Terrain, Sanctuary, World Literature Today (work nominated for a Pushcart Prize) and other journals. Her collections are Keel Bone – a book of poetry, which won the Dorothy Brunsman poetry prize, and Web of Water (nonfiction). Her current work on Black-backed Woodpeckers is being funded by awards from the Audubon Society and Patagonia.
