William Jobes

Photojournalist William Jobes engages the natural world through the unique, inquisitive, and probing perspective one acquires as a lifelong journalist.
By expanding his sense of awareness and walking in tune with the rhythms of nature, he skillfully positions his lens to capture a unique moment in time and memorialize it forever.
In a career spanning more than four decades, William Jobes has expressed his vision as a daily newspaper photographer, reporter, and editor, as well as a multiple Emmy award-winning television news journalist. A partial list of his extensive credits includes the New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, USA Today, and Birder’s World magazine, Birdwatching magazine, and Cornell University publications.
His special brand of nature photography spans the gamut from birds and wildlife to flowers, insects, and landscapes.
While his primary focus is Bucks County, Pennsylvania, he has ventured throughout the Mid-Atlantic region in pursuit of lasting images borrowed from Nature’s tapestry.
His works may be seen at Greenology Gallery at Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, Pennsylvania, and at the Countryside Gallery in Newtown.
