Ray Young Bear is a writer, musician and a member of Meskwaki Nation. He wrote and recorded a song in the Meskwaki language titled “A Grandchild’s Song for Robins in Year Two of Pandemic.” The song is part of a new music collection called For the Birds: The Birdsong Project. Over 200 musicians, artists and writers collaborated to create the project, and the proceeds go to the National Audubon Society. Learn more here.
